I Love Taking Pictures

Okay let me rephrase that... I like taking pictures. I love capturing a moment, an emotion, the real person, telling the story of a moment in time for everyone to see. I love the look on my client's face when we've finished a shoot that has been more fun than work, the glow they get from having such a good time and the anticipation that dances in their eyes as they wonder if I captured what they want to be. And the look of utter delight when they realize that I did indeed capture their spirit and they look more amazing then they ever imagined. Yes, I like taking pictures. But I love being part of the beauty and love that is life and capturing it for all the world to see.

Ft Desoto

So I met some of my awesome "friends" at Ft Desoto this morning and we had a blast exploring the fort and the pier. They spent most of the time laughing... at each other and at me... which I didn't mind cuz as you can see it made for some super cute pictures. They said they wanted their pictures to look different from your normal "wegottogetherandposedforsomepictures" pictures. Well Amanda and Michael... here's a little different.

THESE ROCK! I'm not sure which is my fav. yet. I absolutely love the texture on the fort walls. It really adds something, you know?

This got me thinking about a photo shoot at Egmont. There's a really cool place by the fort stairs that have great angles. Plus the creepy ruins could make for a fun backdrop.
