A Belly & A Masterpiece!

Here are a few more of my favorite pictures from my last "Belly" shoot.

I absolutely love this picture. I think it shows the bond between my nephew and his mom. He is sooo excited for the baby to come. But he wasn't that excited about this shoot.

I did manage to get these great pictures out of him.

After we were finished with the serious shots, I brought out a surprise just for him... finger paints!

He was very intense. He wanted to get it just right.

After he was finished with his masterpiece we cleaned up and went outside.

Congratulations and I can' t wait to see the baby!

Expecting...

I'm going to have a niece very soon. We are all so excited. Here is a sneak peak of the "Belly" session I did with my Sister-in-Law.

She has the most perfect belly.

They had a surprise shower for her with a St Patrick's Day theme. This is the card I sent. It is actually a 10 x 20 poster just sized down.

As you can see we didn't just do the traditional posed shots. We got my nephew involved and he had a blast and the pictures turned out way cute. There soooo many more beautiful and fun pictures from the shoot I'll definitely post more.

Fair-ly In Love

I got the privilege to shoot an engagement session for the cutest couple.

Lacey and Harris have known each other since high school. They went to college half way across the state from each other, but managed to find one another after graduating. They are a young, cute, fun couple, full of life and laughter and I needed someplace that would match their energy and glow. So I took them to the fair.

They were ultra fun and let me try tons of stuff...like shooting on a moving carousel.

I'm not sure which of these pictures I like better...........

But I think it's this one. Can't you just feel the love?

And even though they adore each other, both played to win.

Thanks for letting me take you to the fair. I can't wait for your wedding.

GiGi Rocks

Here is the third installment of LUMU-off camera flash pictures that rock!

GiGi is a very verstile model and was a lot of fun to shoot. We set up a session just off the path where there was some trees and moss covered logs to add a "back to nature" sort of feel to the shoot.

I think these photos show a soft, sweet side of her.

Your basic all American girl next door. The sitting in the parking lot... On the asphalt... Right next to a Lexus kind of all American girl.

I mean, who wouldn't want to look like this?

The Midway

Remember Megan and Lindsay? The models I took the fair a few weeks back? Well I promised you pictures of us on the midway so here they are. But first on the way out of Cracker Country, the girls stopped by the church so I could snap a few pictures.

Cracker Country is this awesome collection of real old buildings that have played a part in Florida's history and have been moved to their own little town located on the fair grounds. They make any excellent backdrop to shoot against. Don't you agree?

We couldn't stay long.... the midway was calling. As the sun was setting we took ride on the Farris Wheel. I loved the look of the soft light on the girl's faces.

I love all of the bright lights of the midway. And all of it's "fair-ish-ness". The smell of corn dogs and cotton candy, the sounds and lights of the games and rides. There is just something exciting about the midway.

I'm not exactly sure how Lindsay made it through the fun house with those heels on, but it made for some awesome shoots.

And as the young guy on Project Runway always says, these two look "Fierce"! (I'm addicted to Bravo TV.)

We attracted a lot of attention and the girls must have walked a mile in those heels but it was worth it. Shooting at the fair makes for some amazing and unique photos and is an experience I'll never forget.

Retired Racers

I went to an event hosted by Little Pet Project and the Greyhound Rescue. Both organizations are trying their darnedest to help our less fortunate four legged friends. They are sooo cute, how could you not want to help?

Introducing the Lovely Erin

Here are a few shots of the lovely Erin. She was one of the awesome models from Florida LUMU session. Erin has posed for the group before and it shows. She knew exactly how to work it so we could get the best shots.

She was also extremely patient of those of us that hadn't gone "off camera" before. I think she held this pose for 15 minutes. And let me tell you, that water was cold and I was only in it up to my ankles.
She doesn't look the least bit cold does she?
